Served ala carte and made fresh to order, breakfast at Bridges is timed to each resident’s preference, and served with fresh tea, coffee, juices and seasonal fruit.

Served around noon, lunch at Bridges is typically the most substantial meal -- at the request of our residents and because it seems to promote digestive health. Residents are provided warm, damp hand towels and seating is at a community dining table or smaller tables for two. If a resident dislikes a planned meal, our chefs prepare a nutritious alternative with available ingredients. Dessert is served, as desired. Here is a recent week's lunch menu:

SPAGHETTI with ITALIAN POULTRY SAUSAGE MEAT SAUCE
served with Italian mixed vegetables and garlic bread, garnished with parmesan cheese. Cheese cake.
OVEN FRIED CHICKEN
served with mashed potatoes and gravy and a green bean casserole. Cherry cobbler.
shrimp, clams, and scallops in broth served over rice with a vegetable blend. Chocolate pudding.
BRAISED BEEF BRISKET
topped with gravy, served with roast potato wedges and sweet baby peas. Apple crisp.
BAKED WHITE FISH with TARRAGON MUSTARD SAUCE
served with buttered garlic rice and roasted baby carrots, garnished with lemon. Coconut crème pie.
HOUSE-MADE MINESTRONE SOUP with CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICH
served with potato chips, garnished with lettuce and tomato. Diced pear crumble.
Bridges hosts live music entertainment during dinner approximately every other day. Served around 5pm, dinner is typically a lighter meal -- at the request of our residents and because it seems to promote digestive health. seared chicken breast braised in tangy tomato sauce with bell peppers, celery, tomato, and onion, served over rice with sautéed zucchini. Diced watermelon.
NEW ENGLAND CLAM CHOWDER with HALF TURKEY SANDWICH
served with garden salad and oyster crackers. Fresh apple wedges.
Italian marinated chicken breast, diced and tossed with pesto and pasta, served with cauliflower and red peppers and garlic bread, garnished with grated parmesan cheese. Diced peaches.
BEEF BARLEY SOUP with HAM AND CHEESE SANDWICH
served with three bean salad. Minted, diced pears.
HOUSE-MADE VEGETABLE LASAGNA
served with a tossed salad and garlic bread. Strawberries.
Snacks are a natural part of any diet and are available to Bridges residents at any time, and in accordance with any dietary restrictions, of course. Bridges caregivers encourage residents to snack whenever they are hungry. Additionally, a snack is served around 3pm everyday.
At each meal, residents are served water plus their choice of other beverages such as milk, juice, tea or coffee (decaf or caffeinated.)
For those who enjoy adult beverages, Bridges provides a rotating selection of house wines and beers, and our chefs are happy to entertain requests from residents and their families for favorite wines, beers or cocktails. Just ask!
