Elizabeth Classen Ambrose

Elizabeth and her husband, Dr. Lee Ambrose, own Bridges Cornell Heights. Elizabeth is the principal and managing partner of Bridges Cornell Heights and Dr. Ambrose teaches Medicine at Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.

Elizabeth brings over sixteen years of geriatric care experience to her work. In 1989 Elizabeth and her sister, Patricia Classen, opened a New York State licensed Home Health Care Agency. The company started with four employees and grew to over 120 employees within two years. The agency became the largest privately owned licensed agency in the upstate New York region. In 1994, a need was identified for a less institutional alternative to traditional nursing home care. Over the next decade the Classens developed five unique residences for seniors.

Teresa L. Nix

Bridges Administrator (pictured seated at back)

Teresa brings eight years of active United States military service and seventeen years of geriatric care experience to her work. Teresa began her career with our company in 1994. She has held many positions of responsibility including bookkeeping, human resources, Director of Operations and Development and, finally, her current position as Administrator and Executive Director of Bridges Cornell Heights. Teresa has extensive experience in development, operations and management of nearly all aspects of residential long term care.

Kathy A. Sindoni, BSN, RN

Bridges Director of Nursing (pictured seated middle)

Kathy brings twelve years of nursing experience to her work. She specializes in long term care management and has extensive experience with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia clients. After graduating from Mansfield University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing, Kathy spent eight years as a Dialysis and Hemapheresis nurse. Additionally, Kathy has developed many long term care nursing management systems and quality improvement programs.

Cynthia Hebbard

Bridges Assistant Director/Accounting

Cynthia has been with our Company since the year 2000 and has twenty-four years of hands-on and managerial geriatric home care experience. She oversees the company’s accounting and payroll operations; additionally, she is a hands-on manager of operations. Cynthia is the ultimate multi-hat wearer.
